Peran Guru dalam Menerapkan Strategi Inovatif Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis dan Sikap Religius Siswa

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in implementing innovative learning strategies in Islamic Education (PAI) to improve students’ critical thinking skills and religious attitudes. The main problem addressed is the low level of students’ critical thinking skills and the suboptimal development of religious attitudes due to the use of less innovative teaching methods. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method through literature review from various scientific sources over the past five years. The findings show that the implementation of innovative strategies such as Problem-Based Learning, discussions, and contextual learning can enhance student engagement, develop critical thinking skills, and strengthen religious attitudes through the internalization of Islamic values. However, several challenges remain, including limited facilities, teacher competence, and student readiness. The study concludes that innovative learning strategies play a significant role in improving the quality of Islamic education, but require continuous support from various stakeholders.
