PERAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN SOSIAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT

Abstrak

Social entrepreneurship is a form of business activity that is not only oriented toward economic profit but also emphasizes solving social problems within society. This study aims to analyze the role of social entrepreneurship in improving community welfare through economic empowerment, job creation, and strengthening the social capacity of communities. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a literature review, through data collection from various journals, books, and relevant scientific sources. The results of the study indicate that social entrepreneurship has a significant contribution to improving people's living standards by creating new business opportunities, reducing unemployment rates, and encouraging the economic independence of disadvantaged community groups. In addition, social entrepreneurship also plays a role in building social solidarity, increasing community participation, and creating sustainable innovation in solving social problems. Therefore, social entrepreneurship can become an effective strategy in realizing more equitable and sustainable community welfare.
