Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the integration of the benefits and challenges of e-Commerce and their implications for business development in the digital economy era. The rapid growth of digital technologies and increasing adoption of e-Commerce platforms require a comprehensive understanding of how emerging opportunities and obstacles shape business sustainability and competitiveness. This research employs a literature review method by examining previous studies and academic sources related to the advantages of e-Commerce, operational challenges, digital readiness of businesses, technological infrastructure, and consumer behavior dynamics. The findings indicate that e-Commerce offers several benefits such as market expansion, operational efficiency, and enhanced service innovation, yet it also presents challenges including security risks, intense competition, and dependency on digital infrastructure. These results highlight that a strategic integration of leveraging opportunities while mitigating e-Commerce challenges is essential for promoting sustainable business development in the digital economy
