Dampak Pemanfaatan E-Wallet terhadap Perilaku Transaksi Digital Masyarakat Perkotaan di Kota Binjai

This study aims to analyze the influence of E-wallet utilization on the transaction habits of modern society. The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged consumers to shift from cash payments to non-cash transactions, which are perceived as more practical, faster, and secure. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 20 respondents who actively use E-wallet services. Descriptive analysis shows that both E-wallet utilization and transaction habits fall into the high category. Reliability tests indicate that all instrument items are valid and consistent. The correlation results reveal a strong and significant relationship between E-wallet utilization and transaction habits. Furthermore, regression analysis demonstrates that E-wallet utilization significantly affects transaction habits, with an R Square value of 0.425, indicating that 42.5% of the variance in transaction habits is explained by E-wallet utilization. These findings confirm that E-wallets play an essential role in shaping digital transaction behavior in modern society. The study suggests that E-wallet providers should continue improving usability and security features to support the ongoing transformation toward digital transactions
